Route
The route is a 6.706 km long circuit. There are 71 meters of elevation gain per lap. You run on forest, woodland and meadow paths. The route is marked.
Bib number issue
The bib number distribution begins on June 5, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
Donation
Of the entry fee, €7.06 will be donated to a charitable cause for the municipality of Höchstenbach. In addition, participants in rounds 1-10 will each receive an additional €1.50 donation, which will be donated to the same cause.
Camping
There is a limited possibility to set up a pavilion or tent adjacent to the start/finish location. Please be sporty and assess realistically whether you are one of the favorites. If yes, then set up camp in the front area. If not, then accept a slightly longer walk to the start area. Thank you very much!
Briefing
The mandatory briefing takes place 15 minutes before the start.
Aid station
There is a aid station in the start/finish area with runner-friendly drinks and snacks in Katja’s Laufzeitstyle. The more laps you complete, the more the table will be filled.
Lap counting
Laps are counted electronically via RaceResult.
Medals
Every participant who has completed at least one lap will receive a medal at the finish.
Award ceremony
The award ceremony will take place shortly after the finish in the start/finish area.
Sanitary facilities
Toilets are available in the start/finish area. There are no shower facilities.
Rules
Start Block
- Sized to fit the entire starting field
- The block remains the same size throughout the event
- Participants must be in the starting block when the bell rings
Start
- Each round begins exactly 1 hour after the last
- A signal is given 3, 2 and 1 minute before the start
- All participants must start when the bell rings (no late starts)
Runden
- Except for toileting, participants may not leave the course until each lap is completed
- No non-participants on the course (including eliminated runners)
- No personal assistance during a lap (shared aid stations are permitted)
- Each lap must be completed within one hour to be counted – including the last lap
- No artificial aids (including walking poles)
- Faster runners must be allowed to pass.
Timing
- Timekeeping is done electronically
Winners/Results
- The winner is the last person to complete a round
- All others are technically DNF
- The results of each participant in terms of distance traveled are indicated
- If no runner can complete one more lap than all the others, there is no winner
Violations of the rules will be punished with a warning or disqualification at the discretion of the organizer. These include unsportsmanlike conduct, shortcuts, eating outside the refreshment zone, littering on the course (non-exhaustive list).
If paramedics or the race director come to the conclusion during the event that runners will cause themselves physical harm if they continue the race, they can order a break or an abandonment. The runners remain in the classification. Non-compliance may result in disqualification. In the event of disqualification, starters must immediately hand in their race number and finish the race. They will not be included in the results list and will not receive a medal.
DNS
There will be no refund of entry fees for non-participation. A substitute runner can be named within the registration period.

Notes on data protection
The personal data provided by participants when registering will be stored and processed exclusively for the purposes of organizing and running the event. This applies in particular to the data required for payment processing (§28 Federal Data Protection Act). By registering, participants consent to their data being stored for this purpose.
The stored personal data will be used and passed on for the purpose of timekeeping, compiling the entry and results lists and posting these lists on the internet. By registering, participants consent to the storage and reproduction of their data for this purpose.
The surname, first name, year of birth, gender, place, club if applicable, start number and result (placing and times) of the participants will be printed or published in all relevant and event-related media (printed materials such as the program booklet and results booklet, as well as on the Internet) for the purpose of presenting starter and result lists. By registering, participants consent to the storage and use of their personal data for this purpose.
